Empowering the Next Generation of Skilled Workers 
L.E.E.P. Inc. is proud to announce the launch of the Groundwork to Greatness initiative at Ferris School for Boys—a 14-week in-school training program designed to introduce students to the building trades. 
In collaboration with Laborers’ Local 199, this initiative provides structured hands-on training, career exploration, and mentorship to prepare students for future opportunities in union careers.

What This Program Offers 

  • Introduction to Construction Trades – Hands-on learning in real job skills with a focus on laborer work.
  • Industry-Led Training – Led by experienced professionals from Laborers’ Local 199.
  • Career Awareness & Readiness – Helping students explore pathways into high-paying, stable union careers.
  • Mentorship & Support – Providing guidance, encouragement, and career-building strategies.
  • Strong Workforce Connections – Preparing students for potential apprenticeship and employment opportunities.
